As Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer film is released globally The Elders have joined PAX sapiens, Open Nuclear Network, United Services Institute (RUSI), European Leadership Network, Ploughshares Fund, and the School of International Futures to host an expert panel on the urgent leadership needed to address the existential threat of nuclear weapons.

In support of our overall mission to prevent global conflict rising to the level of nuclear weapon use, PAX sapiens, ONN Ploughshares Fund, hereby invites philanthropists, non-proliferation organizations, research institutes, government entities and key individuals with greatest sincerity to participate in a private screening event of the film Oppenheimer on July 21st 2023 in London at the Cinema in the Power Station.

London is one of the stops on an international tour organized by Aligning Action, a partnership of organizations and individuals engaged in nuclear threat reduction and disarmament efforts and intersectional issues. The event will kick off with a reception, panel discussion among scientists and philanthropists with a broader audience, and followed by a movie screening.

The rest of the international tour will be held in 8 other cities: NYC, Washington D.C. LA, Sante Fe, Denver, San Francisco, and Chicago. Participants will include participants consisting of nuclear experts, scientists, members of Congress, and Administration officials joining as speakers and guests.
